Technology

Industrially, ozone is produced when a dry oxygen or air stream is subjected to a high voltage, high density electrical current. To obtain a homogeneous discharge, Ozonia have developed special dielectrics and sophisticated power electronics for medium frequency which go to improve the energy efficiency of ozone generation.

Years of research and development have improved the electric power consumption and production performances of the first ozone generators by more than 300%. Numerous scientific publications testify to Ozonia’s on-going research and development efforts.

Medium frequency technology has become state of the art in the field of ozone production. Ozonia’s extensive experience in the design and manufacture of power electronics has resulted in high reliability.

With the use of industrial oxygen, concentrations of over 15% in weight with units producing more than 150 kg of ozone per hour are available. Ozonia offers integrated systems including:

air preparation or oxygen generation units (PSA or VSA)
oxygen recycling loops
